Wiggly Hot Dog
Project:
The Silly Wiggly Hot Dog
Created By:
Cam (6 years old)
We’ve been enjoying doing crafts together from Pinterest and Cam wanted to share one of his designs. He was inspired by a snake project.
Supplies:
Toilet Paper Rolls ( we used 7 but could be as few as 3).
Washable Paint (we used red and orange for the hot dog body and blue for the eyes).
Ribbon (to connect the sections).
Packing Tape (to secure the ribbon to the inside of the toilet paper rolls).
Instructions:
Paint the toilet paper rolls. ¾ of the roll should be orange for the roll and the remaining ¼ red for the hotdog.
Paint eyes on one of the rolls. You can have that one with the bun or without (like a part is hanging out of the bun, which is what Cam did).
Once dry, tape a ribbon to the insides of the rolls of toilet paper rolls, connecting them. Try to keep the red painted areas in a row.
To do this I laid the ribbon down and then folded a piece of packing tape and placed it over the ribbon.
Time Commitment:
About an hour, including drying time.
